In
many and varied ways, the Word is disseminated and received throughout
the universe. Expression in image and art is a way of sharing the Word
through the transmission of an inner vision. The search for enduring
beauty can be compromised in our time by mass production, disposibility
and functionality, subtly robbing the soul of a certain nourishment.
Minsart Studio seeks to minister to this particular impoverishment of
our time in the spirit of Dom Nicholas Joseph Minsart, founder of the
Sisters of St. Mary, who was keenly sensitive to the needs of his time
and gave himself untiringly to the task of rebuilding the Church. His
vision saw not only the need to care for the poor in body, but also to
feed their souls through the construction of beautiful Churches. In a
similar manner, Minsart Studio hopes to bring enhancement to our world
through the authentic search for beauty and its expression in
meaningful imagery, spreading the gospel message in visual form.
