The unique design of Eternity I came about by the simple twisting and texturing of a long rope of clay. In its tortuous length it suggests something ongoing and enduring, through twists and turns, ups and downs. The form ends in a twist that is pretzel-like. The origins of the German pretzel was a lenten practice of making the small twisted dough to resemble arms folded in prayer. The Eternity I can inspire one to hold steady in prayer and communion with God through the twists and turns of life on into eternity.
This unique pewter pendant is strung on 18" leather cord with Czech glass beads, and sterling or pewter caps and spacers. Matching earrings included.
